I bought Prestigio LCD monitor (notebook) and there are few black pixels on the screen. Is that case covered with your warranty? What should we do in that case?
The solution depends of quantity and location of defects as well as of resolution of LCD panel. We advice you to read TFT LCD visual inspection criteria for Prestigio products. If you consider your case meets requirements of that document please apply to nearest Prestigio authorized service center (http://www.prestigio.com/service.cfm). After general inspection and warranty status verification service center will replace defective panel (or complete unit) within the limits of the possible.

I'd like to upgrade the BIOS of my Prestigio Notebook. Where I can download BIOS file and flashing utility.
We are sure that you have high enough qualification enough for that operation. But in order to protect you and your data and to avoid unnecessary problems we strongly advice you to apply for that service to one of authorized service centers. Please be informed that damage caused by unauthorized modification, replacement, unsuccessful upgrade operations is not covered with Prestigio warranty and considered as end-user fault.

The TV-out function in my Prestigio notebook is is not working any more. What's happened and how I can solve it?
S-Video might burn-out due to different grounded level causes high current go through a terminal port between TV and NB. There are few reasons will cause different grounded level, but if end user could use high quality cable, the most of chance it has better ground protection. And please always remember that TV is not a PnP(plug-and-play) device. The only safe way to use this function is completely to turn off the computer and TV set, connect them with a cable and only then turn on the TV and computer. Disconnection should be performed in reverse order. Regarding solution of existing problem we can advice you to apply to service center. If the S-video is really burned then the only way to fix the notebook is to replace whole mainboard.

How can I connect an External Monitor to notebook?
Follow this procedure to connect an external monitor: 1. Make sure that the computer is not turned on. 2. Plug the monitor’s D-type signal connector to the computer’s VGA port. 3. Plug one end of the monitor’s power cord into the power socket on the monitor and the other end to an electrical outlet. 4. To use the monitor, turn on the monitor before turning on the computer. 5. The monitor should respond by default. If not, you can switch the display to the monitor or to both (simultaneous display), or to multi-display by pressing Fn+F5. In Windows, you can also change the display through the settings in Display Properties. 6. You can change display settings through your operating system. See your operating system documentation or online help for specific information.

The battery does not charge (Battery Charge indicator does not light amber). What’s it?
Make sure that the AC adapter is properly connected. Make sure that the battery is not too hot or cold. Allow time for the battery pack to return to room temperature. Make sure that the battery pack is installed correctly. Make sure that the battery terminals are clean.

The operating time of a fully charged battery becomes shorter…
If you often partially recharge and discharge, the battery might not be charged to its full potential. Initialize the battery to solve the problem. The battery operating time indicated by the battery meter does not match the actual operating time. The actual operating time can be different from the estimated time, depending on how you are using the computer. If the actual operating time is much less than the estimated time, initialize the battery.

I cannot eject a CD/DVD.
Turn off the system. Insert a small rod, such as a straightened paperclip, into the drive’s manual eject hole and push firmly to release the tray. Pull the tray out until fully extended, and then remove the CD/DVD.

I can feel the heat next to the Touch Pad during recharge. Is it normal?
The battery will generate heat during recharging and discharging. There is a protection circuit inside the notebook to prevent overheating. User needs not to worry.

My battery operation time is not as long as it should be. Why?
The battery is heat sensitive and can only be charged to its maximum if the battery and its environmental temperature remain within 15-25oC (59-77oF). The more the temperature deviates from this range during recharging, the less chance there is for the battery to be fully charged. In order to recharge the pack to its full capacity, users are requested to cool down the unit by unplugging the AC Adapter. Wait until it is cooled down. Then plug in the AC Adapter to start recharging again. Note: Constantly using of notebooks with AC power “ON” and full battery can damage battery or significantly decrease battery life.

I did not use my spare battery for a few days. Even though it was fully recharged, there wasn’t as much power left as a newly charged one. Why?
The batteries will self-discharge (1% per day for Li-Ion) when they are not being recharged. To make sure a battery pack is fully charged, recharge before use. Always keep the battery inside the notebook and have the AC adapter connected whenever possible.

I did not use my spare battery for months. I have problem in recharging it.
If you happen to leave your battery pack to go through an extended period of self-discharge, say more than three months, the battery voltage level will become too low and needs to be Pre-Charged (to bring the battery voltage level high enough) before it automatically (for Li-Ion only) resumes its normal Fast Charge. Pre-Charge may take 30 minutes. Fast Charge usually takes 2~3 hours.

Why won't my touhpad work?
Your touchpad might be disabled, use the hotkey Fn-F6 to enable it.

The computer feels too hot
Make sure the computer is properly ventilated and the Vent/Fan intakes are not blocked. If this doesn’t cool it down, put the system into Hibernate mode or turn it off for an hour. Make sure the computer isn’t sitting on a thermal surface. Make sure you’re using the correct adapter. Make sure that your notebook is completely powered off before putting it into a travel bag (or any such container). Putting a notebook which is powered on in a travel bag may cause the Vent/Fan intakes to be blocked.

No image appears on the external monitor I have plugged in and powered on?
You haven’t installed the video driver and configured it appropriately from the Control Panel.

The Audio “DJ” CD Player will not turn on (nothing appears on the LCD of the player)?
The computer is turned ON. Check your computer is not turned on (or running in a power saving mode), and if it is, then shut it down and press the ON/OFF switch on the Audio “DJ” Player.

The system freezes or the screen goes dark?
The system’s power saving features have timed-out. Use the AC/DC adapter, press the sleep (Fn + F4) key combination, or press the power button if no LEDs are lit

The Wireless LAN/ Bluetooth/ PC Camera modules cannot be detected?
The modules are off. Check the appropriate LED indicator to see if the WLAN/Bluetooth/ PC Camera module is on or off. If the LED indicator is off, then press the Fn + F11 (WLAN), Fn + F12 (Bluetooth) or Fn + F10 (PC Camera) key combination(s) in order to enable the modules.

Sound cannot be recorded
Double-click the speaker icon on the lower right corner of the taskbar to see if the microphone has been muted. 1. Click Options and select Properties. 2. Select Recording and click the OK button. 3. After Click OK button, the recording volume control panel will appear. Go to [Start > Settings > Control Panel] and double-click the Multimedia icon (or Sounds and Audio Devices icon). In the Volume or Audio page, make sure that Realtek HD Audio is the default recording device.
