Prestigio launches MultiPad Tablet PC with 3G

Prestigio MultiPad PMP7074B3G is the third model in the 7series of MultiPads by Prestigio and is the first Prestigio’s tablet with 3G feature, being able to provide Internet access from absolutely any location. Besides many other attractive features, the new MultiPad PMP70704B3G supports phone calls and comes with an integrated GPS receiver.

The new Prestigio PMP7074B3G is thin and light, however rather powerful device representing the next generation of portable entertainment. It has 7-inch capacitive multi touch screen and ARM Freescale 800MHz CPU with hardware 3D for good speed of performance.

Prestigio PMP7074B3G provides sharp video and great game graphics. The tablet is equipped with 2 cameras, 2.0 MP camera in the rear that comes with LED flash, and 0.3 MP front camera for video calls. The new MultiPad has 512 MB of RAM, 4GB of internal flash storage and can be extended by microSD cards  up to 32 GB.

With Adobe Flash compatibility, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, you can enjoy the web browsing in its full glory. The Android browser with a possibility of voice search will give you a similar experience to the one you would’ve had on your desktop computer: you can open multiple tabs, have your privacy settings, make bookmarks, and check your history. 

This device runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, which provides lots of cool features and access to over 200,000 Android Market applications, giving you all the freedom to customize your MultiPad as you like.

Prestigio MultiPad PMP7074B3G will fulfill all of your portable entertainment needs. The device is compatible with literally all audio, video, and image file formats, allowing to enjoy all of your media whenever and wherever you wish.

Along with the device, the user gets tons of useful preloaded software items: Popular applications, such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Gallery, Maps etc., as well as must-have games (Angry Birds, Raging Thunder, Solitaire, Chess). Moreover, MultiPad PMP7074B3G comes with Office Suite Pro preinstalled, which is compatible to files from Microsoft Office 2003/2007 and 2010.
 

This model features also Prestigio’s unique “launcher concept”. Well-known from the other 7series models, this intuitive desk design concept makes the usage of the Prestigio MultiPad convenient and very easy. The entire “desktop” consists of 4 parts. On the upper half you will find various icons, which are grouped by the categories “LIFE”, “BUSINESS” and “ENTERTAINMENT”.

With a simple click on one icon, a window opens below and gives direct access to all applications, which belong to this particular subject. E.g., a click on “Games” in the ENTERTAINMENT category will open a window with all installed games. Below the icons, there is a widget made by Prestigio, which features weather information of a location of your choice, RSS news feed and a clock with multiple functionality like alarm, stop watch etc.

Pricing and availability
Prestigio MultiPad PMP7074B3G is expected to be available starting from October for a suggested retail price of EUR 299 (USD 429).
